Copying the Program
╥The Sound-Trecker V2.0╙ is a Shareware-Product. You are allowed and encouraged to copy the program freely to anyone, provided the program is copied entirely, including this licence agreement and the documentation. You are not allowed to modify the program in any way (if you discover bugs, please let me know and I will fix them).
Using the Program
If you would like to use this program for non-commercial purposes, please send 50.- DM to the author (see address above). If you are unable to afford this you can send me 30.- DM instead. If this is still too expensive for you to pay, you can pay me only one Dollar as a formailty, but please send me a souvenier from yourself or your home-town, such as:
Ñ a daily Newspaper (only English or German please)
Ñ an autographed photo of yourself (if you are a V.I.P.)
Ñ an autographed photo of a local politician (e.g. the Mayor)
Ñ a map and tourist information booklet of your home town
Ñ a prospectus of your university (if you╒re a student)
Ñ a McDonald's Gift Certificate
Ñ a diskette with lots and lots of new Sound Tracks (.MOD-format)
Ñ etc. (I╒ll leave it up to you to thinksomething!)

If you intend to use ╥The Sound Trecker V2.0╙ for commercial purposes, please send 75.- DM. The extra money is used to pay the Apple-Dealer.
Using the Sound-Trecker Routines in Your Own Software
The object code contained in the 'PSTk', 'ISTk', and the '⌐STk' resources, as well as the source code to the example program ╥Simple Trecker╙, may only be usedin public domain software provided the following conditions are met:
Ñ the use in public domain software is free of charge;
Ñ a commercial use is allowed only with my explicit written agreement;
Ña public domain program using the code, as well as its documentation, must contain a copyright note about the Sound-Trecker resources, including my address (as shown above);
Ñ a copy of the program must be sent to me;
Ñ any modifications of the code are not allowed.
Use of the program on a commercial basis will be determined by my own personal discretion. If you do not send me a written request, the answer is no.
Translation
The Sound-Trecker is currently available in German and English. A translation into another language is easily possible by using ResEdit. Translation is allowed under the following conditions:
Ñ the translation must be free of charge;
Ñ it must be complete; all dialogs and alerts ('DITL'), all error messages ('STR#'), all other resources ('vers', 'BNDL' etc.), the documentation and the licence agreement have to be translated;
Ñ a copy has to be sent to me.
You are not allowed to make any modifications of the program contents or the object code. If you translate a version of the program, you may include your name and address.
